The Pope County Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and elderly/disabled individuals.

This Housing Authority has 123 apartment units for families and elderly/disabled individuals located throughout Pope County.

Many local services are available to senior residents such as:

Meals on Wheels- home delivered meals

In-Home Services- housekeeping and errands

Outreach- Social Service workers go to homes to informe residedts about aging services

Transportation- to and from Medical Appointments,, shopping, ect.

On Site Food Pantry available to all residents

On Site Laundry Facilities Available to those without laundry hook-up in their apartment.

This Housing Authority does not list preferences and goes by date and time application is received.
